The European Commission, DG Information Society and Media, Grid Technologies
Unit, are pleased to inform you that the European Grid Technology Days 2006
will take place on 19-21 September 2006 in Brussels. 

The European Grid Technology Days (EGTD 2006) will consist of:

19 September: a Public Event Day, including a public debate on Europe's vision
on Grids and Service-oriented Architectures: preparing a Business driven
long-term research agenda, followed by the official launch of 23 new Grid
Research Projects selected after Call 5 and Call 6 (from FP6 IST priority).

20-21 September: two days Concertation Meeting with technical and
collaboration
workshops led by programme participants. The Concertation Meeting will be
co-organised by the European Commission and the AKOGRIMO project.

Participation to the Concertation Meeting is by invitation only and limited to
partners of the FP6 IST Grid related projects.
